Kasia Porycka
CEO & Owner, Saintbody
Kasia Porycka is the CEO and owner of Saintbody, a Polish brand that has spent almost a decade proving that slow fashion can be good business. She started with a single product, the perfect bodysuit, which you simply could not buy anywhere at the time. Today Saintbody is a feminine, timeless wardrobe designed and made in Poland. Before founding her own brand she was Brand Manager of the women's line at Prosto. So she knows how fashion is built from the inside of a big company, and what it looks like when you are responsible for everything yourself: production, e-commerce, communication and customers who keep coming back for years. We will talk about how to build a brand that does not chase trends, how to grow without fast fashion, and what really keeps a fashion business alive for 10 years.

Olga Kozak
Product Director, Buyer, Sourcing Expert
Olga Kozak has spent 20 years in fashion on the side the runway never shows: product, buying and logistics. She has built collections for Polish fashion brands for years, and she flies regularly to factories in Asia and the Far East, where she has deep local relationships that take years to earn. She is an analyst to the core. She can tell whether a product will find demand before the first sample exists, and she knows how to produce it as efficiently as possible. Exactly what decides in fashion whether a brand makes money or drowns in overstock.

Sylwia Zuzanna Dębicka
Creative Director, founder of the Polskie Marki Modowe community
Sylwia Zuzanna Dębicka is an entrepreneur and creative director who has worked in Polish fashion for over a decade. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, a laureate of Grażyna Kulczyk's Art & Fashion Forum and a fashion illustrator whose work has reached Givenchy, Dior and Harper's Bazaar. She knows fashion from more than the art side. She has worked creatively for Polish brands, including Undress Code, and she founded and then co-ran the Warsaw concept stores Thank You and To the Moon. So she knows what selling Polish brands looks like from the shelf, the customer and the till. She also created Polskie Marki Modowe, the largest fashion industry community on Facebook, with over 100,000 members. It is where brands, designers and customers talk about what really works in Polish fashion and what does not. Today Sylwia advises brands on image, communication and running a fashion business. We will talk about how to build a brand people want to talk about, how to get into bricks and mortar stores, and why community is now one of the most valuable assets in fashion.

Before the runway lights go on,
we are talking business.
10:00
Coffee and hello
We start without rushing. Coffee, a moment to catch your breath and the first conversations before we sit down together.

10:30
Panel: the business behind fashion
A moderated conversation with three guests about how a fashion brand really runs: sourcing in China and India, producing in Poland, margins and cash flow, and why fashion is one of the hardest businesses there is. At the end the floor goes to the room.

11:45
Brunch together
We move to brunch. We eat slowly, and the conversations started during the panel get time to finish.

13:00
Time to talk
No rounds of introductions, no timed business card swaps. Simply room to finish a conversation with someone worth meeting.

We finish at 14:00 sharp, out of respect for your calendar

03 / Who is in the room
Women who
make the decisions.
Women aged 30 to 55, mid and senior level, from every industry: technology, fashion and retail, finance, law, health, marketing, their own companies. There is one common denominator: each of them decides something.

Archetype 01
The founder
She has run her company for a few years. She comes to talk to someone with the same problem, one size bigger.

Archetype 02
The team leader
She is responsible for people and a budget in somebody else's company. She wants to hear how the same decisions look from the other side of the table.

Archetype 03
Both at once
A full-time job and her own project after hours. She knows both worlds, and that is her advantage, not a problem to solve.
